So you've got your photo day booked....Yay! Now you get to figure out what to wear, which can seem like a daunting task in itself but we've got some examples listed below to help you out.
The best tip is to start off with one outfit and have everyone else's outfit compliment off of that.
Woodsy Photos - Neutral colors are a great choice for this background. You can choose muted color tones like mustard yellow, sage green, tan (earthy tones) to go with a woodsy back drop. Stay away from too dark of colors because then you will blend into the background too much.
Beach Photos - White is a great classic choice for the beach but you can also wear any shade of blue, teal, tangerine and yellow. If you get a muted tone of these colors it'll be a more subdued color but still give you the color you're wanting.
Solid Colors vs Print - It's best to go with solid colors so that a big, bold print is not taking away from you in the photos. If you have a piece of clothing that has a small, non-distracting print to it you should be okay, especially if your small print has a nice color in it that another family member can wear to compliment it.
The key is to just be comfortable for the day of your photo shoot. You will be in different positions throughout your session so you want to have room to move comfortably around.
